Page Permalink gets change when page updated when using shortcode in page

    Hello,

    I have created the page and and put the shortcode [testimonials view_id=’1′] , when I update the page, its url(permalinks) getting changed to the latest testimonial title created.

    Would you help me to fix this issue.

    Hi,

    First, make sure the shortcode is correct.
    [testimonial_view id=1]

    Then try resetting your permalinks by going to admin > Settings > Permalinks and simply clicking “Save Changes”.

    If that doesn’t fix it, tell me if you have any other testimonial plugins installed or if your theme also provides testimonials.

    Hi,

    Yes, the shortcode is correct.

    And also try to reset my permalinks, but still facing the same problem.

    Yes the theme I am using also provides testimonials.

    It sounds like a conflict with the theme over the “/testimonial” part of the URL.

    Please tell me the name of your theme and a link to where I can find it.

    Can you post a link to the site so I can look for clues?

    We are using Porto theme. I have started the suport ticket at wpmission.com. And my ticket number is 3644.
