You should be able to just enter a custom redirect URL, and then WPML ought to redirect the user to the chosen language, no?
This is what I was expecting, but the page in french (default language) is redirecting correctly but the same page in english is not !?
My pages don’t have the same name, should it be because of that ?
domain.com/fr/ma-page
domain.com/en/my-page
Unfortunately my knowledge of WPML is limited, but it is my understanding that if a user is redirected/visits a link for a page in another language, then WPML should redirect to the page in the users language (if it exists).
The page name shouldn’t be a problem, as the multilingual pages are linked via IDs, but again, my knowledge here is limited. Would it be possible for you to contact the support team of WPML and ask about this? You can refer them to this thread as well.
