I have pagelayer installed in my site. I have Pagelayer plugin installed and have been using it for a year now. I recently updated WP to the latest version and also updated Pagelayer to the version 1.2.3.
After the recent update this is what is happening:
    1. I duplicate any already existing page
    2. I can see that the page is duplicated but has the same name as the original page with the prefix “-clone” added to it.
    3. I change the page title and its slug using quick edit and save the changes.
    4. The changed page title and slug are correctly visible in the pages list.
    5. I can go to edit the page using pagelayer
    6. I make changes to the pages and click update. The message indicates that the changes are saved.
    7. I then click close to go the page list.
    8. Here the page name has changed to the name of the original page from which it was cloned.
    9. If I change the name again and open it in pagelayer and update, the name again reverts to the name of the original page.

I have confirmed this happens only if I use pagelayer to edit the page. The built in WP editor and other editor plugins do not cause this behaviour.
I have tried multiple page cloning plugins, but see the same behaviour.
I have disabled all other plugins and still see the same behaviour.
I do not have lastpass plugin installed.
This behaviour occured only after the latest WP and pagelayer update.
