• I’m looking for a plug-in to allow me to create a piece of content that will show up in a sidebar on specific page or pages.

For example, the website has events offered and in the sidebars (or widget area) we would like to list the event sponsors as well as some information that’s specific to that page on the website only.

I looked at Widget Logic and Custom Post Widget but I found the Widget Logic was more complicated than I’d like for my client.

Is there a plug-in or plug-ins that would do this for me?

  • Have you looked at using custom fields for this? Seems to me that it would be an ideal solution.

That might work although I’d like if they could create something like a post to use, so they could take advantage of the wysiwyg editor. My client doesn’t know any html at all so adding in a graphic for a sponsor logo would likely be difficult for her.

I’m pretty new to WordPress so I’m still learning all the ins and outs of it.
