I saw on Gmetrix that the cookie plugin makes my website slower. It takes a long time for the page to load with the cookie banner. What can I do about it?

I don’t really have anything to block on my website. I only have a cookie banner on my website for respectability reasons and because everyone has a cookie banner. So I don’t understand at all why the cookie banner makes my site slower (5 seconds)
