  • Hi @fixing2022 ,

In general, those are theme-specific settings, and if the theme doesn’t support it out of the box, it’ll require custom coding.

Regarding Elementor you could explore the background overlay feature as mentioned here:

    https://webpower.uk/blog/add-or-change-a-background-overlay-in-elementor/

However, for any further queries related to Elementor, please use the Elementor support in here:

    Hi @fixing2022,
If you’re using Elementor and want to add a background image to a page title area (like the hero or banner at the top of a page), you can do it with a section at the top of your Elementor layout. Here’s how:

To Add a Background Image Behind the Page Title:
Step 1: Edit the Page with Elementor
    Go to your WordPress Dashboard.

Find the page and click “Edit with Elementor.”

Step 2: Add a Section for the Title
At the top of the page, click “+” to add a new section.

    Choose a 1-column layout.

Inside this section, drag a “Heading” widget and type your page title).

Step 3: Add Background Image to the Section
Click the Section handle (the blue icon at the top of the section).

In the left panel, go to the Style tab.

Under Background > Background Type, click the Classic option (paintbrush icon).

Click the image box and upload or choose your background image.

    Adjust settings like:

    Position: Center Center

    Attachment: Scroll or Fixed

    Repeat: No-repeat

    Size: Cover

Step 4: Adjust Section Height and Padding
    Go to the Layout tab.

Set Height to Min Height and choose something like 300px – 600px, depending on your image.

Under Advanced, add padding to top/bottom to center your title vertically.

🔁 Optional: Hide Default Theme Page Title
If your theme shows the default page title above your Elementor content, you might want to hide it:

Go back to the WordPress Editor (not Elementor).

Check if there’s an option to disable the page title in the theme settings or Elementor panel (at the bottom left).

    Regards,

    Sharif.

    Hi everyone,

    Thank you for your replies.

I know how to add an image with title on Elementor but the issue with my page is that it’s not an editable section. Normally if this happens, you can go to the post or page, edit the features image in the old editor, and it works, but nothing budges.

I recommend getting in touch with Elementor’s support about this via https://elementor.com/support/ if you have any of their paid products or https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/elementor/ if you do not.
