Do you mean Archive page titles? It’s under Blog -> General -> Archive Page Title

No, just regular page titles. But the Archive page title is enabled too. I’m not using any blog-style pages. Just static pages. I can’t provide a link to the page in question since it’s on a test server and not reachable from the outside.
But regular page titles were always visible. Breadcrumbs are something different. Or may you provide a screenshot what you wish to hide?

At the bottom of the page edit….Page Options → Breadcrumbs → Page Title → “Hide”

I don’t know if this helps, but I noticed one of my pate titles was showing, but was unchecked, and I just cycled it and published, and then put it back again, and it was normal again.
but I think my selection was under homepage, or header or something, because it said “hide page title” not archive…I think.

Donna, thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately it didn’t help. I can’t find any setting that turns it off. Really irritating!
ROMIK: I can CONFIRM…this setting is broken. I checked it out on mine, doesn’t work either, just didn’t notice it yet. The breadcrumbs come and go, but the page title does not.

I guess I was thinking about website title before, not page title. Sorry. The one I was thinking of is in Customization>Header>Website Title & Tagline>Disable Website Title
That is the one I had to cycle. It was disabled, but showing. (I guess because that’s the old setting I had) when I clicked it, it went away, then clicked again to show it, with the box properly unchecked.

Donna, thank you 🙂 I went through a lot of trouble writing the code for customized page titles. It’s always been a setting as long as I’ve used the evolve theme.

Sure thing. Yeah, I don’t like page titles at all…I always have mine turned off. Breadcrumbs are enough. Titles just take up space…people can look at the menu and tell where they are or something, I don’t really care.
Really sorry about that, I was focused on customizer and forgot those ones. I will try to fix in the next release. Thanks for patience 😉
