Page Tree not saving

When I create a tree I often find my work not saved. For example, if I accidentally start editing a page I meant to move it seems to wipe out the last 30 minutes of work.

Is their a reliable way of saving work in progress. The site I’m working on has nearly 400 pages and your program promises to be very helpful.
