Hi,
you mean the notification displayed by the block editor after saving a post in the bottom left corner?
Hi, yes, sorry for the confusion. I am still testing but so far on a clean WordPress install, no other plugins active and with multiple themes (TwentyTwenty, Blocksy, TwentyTwentyOne, etc) the still issue occurs. Issue resolved upon deactivating SEOPress.
Hi,
we see the issue, but it seems related to the block editor and the management of metaboxes by WordPress.
We’ll try to see if there is a way to fix this on our side in our next update. Not sure if it’s possible though.
FWIW: I first noticed this whilst looking at moving a site from The SEO Framework to SEOPress. Not sure why it would affect one and not the other if it’s “related to the block editor and the management of metaboxes by WordPress”. It has a negative effect on workflow so it would be good if a fix could be found. 🙂
I notice this ticket is marked as resolved, but this is also an issue for us in the latest release.
As far as I can tell, it’s caused by SEOpress using the same CSS classes as the block editor snackbar, but adding its own CSS to animate it.
Removing all of the CSS from SEOpress related to .components-snackbar-list and .components-snackbar, the block editor snackbar function starts working again.
@tolnem thank you for your feedback. We have marked it as fixed because the fix is ready on our side. It will be published this week 😉
Thank you, I’m glad to hear that. 🙂
