Page Updating problem

Okay, so I’m having a problem with WordPress, it’s been working fine for the past couple days, and all of a sudden, it won’t let me update a page…
I can create pages, activate plugins download plugins, everything else works fine…
It’s not working, I need to add info to pages…
I tried restoring it to a back up I made yesterday, and still the same problem…
This was before 2.8.3…
Because I made a page an hour or 2 before updating and the problem was there.
Please help!
Also, the HTML tab doesn’t work…
