    Hi,

I have built a university using Tutor LMS, but I’m experiencing an issue with the student dashboard. When a student clicks on any page, such as “My Profile,” “My Courses,” or “Finish Profile Bio,” the system redirects back to the dashboard instead of loading the intended page.

Could you please assist me in resolving this issue? Let me know if you need any additional information.

  • Hello @ansarm,

    Thank you for reaching out!

To assist you further, could you please confirm whether the dashboard page has been set as the homepage for your website?

    Hi Nafiz,

Thank you for getting back to me.

No, the dashboard page is not set as the homepage for our website.

Our online university has a landing page that links to a homepage [which contains an introduction to the site’s categories]. From the homepage, visitors are then invited to a link that takes them to the homepage of the subdomain [which is the first actual university study hall]. Here on the subdomain’s homepage, the enrolled students are given access to a link that takes them to the student dashboard.

    Hello @ansarm,

Thank you for the clarification. Based on your description, it seems like the issue may be related to permalink settings. To resolve this, please try flushing the permalinks by following these steps:

    1. Log in to your WordPress admin panel.
    2. Navigate to Settings > Permalinks.
    3. Without making any changes, click the Save Changes button.

This process will refresh the permalink structure and should help resolve the issue.

    Hi Nafiz,

    Thank you for you help.

When the issue first occurred, I tried resetting the permalinks. I changed the structure from plain to post-name after researching that the post-name permalink structure works best with the TutorLMS Plugin. However, I also tried what you just suggested, making no changes and clicking the save button.

The links are still not working from the student dashboard. My admin access links seem to be working fine from the backend; however, all the button links on the student dashboard are not working; they only reload the student dashboard home page.

    Hello @ansarm,

Thank you for testing those steps and for the follow-up.

Since the issue persists, please Check Plugin Conflicts.

Temporarily deactivate all plugins except Tutor LMS and test dashboard pages again. If it works, reactivate the plugins one by one to identify the conflicting one.
