Pages only work with Default Permalink

This is so frustrating. I have a static page that shows a post loop of my recent posts. Everything works fine but when I click “2” or any number on page selector it simply reloads the home page. Non of the pages load when you click them and they all lead to home. My permalink is set to Day and name.

I chose “default” and the pages work perfectly fine. I would love to keep it default but all the advertising and exeternal links I have posted elsewhere are set with “Day and name.” All my posts are tweeted and facebook posts with the link leading to the post. I have all my 300+ posts on social media lead to broken pages.
