• one of my client’s page speed ranking for mobile has dropped from 80 to zero overnight link

strangely desktop version still had rating of 91/100, image sizing recommendations under mobile version are too agressive. asking to reduce 98% of image size.

any ideas what is the solution to this?

Google’s pagespeed tool shows your right under the score what errors it had that determined the score… looks like JS and images are your biggest painpoints. Check for overly large images and too much JS in your <head> and see if that helps your score.

Yup! image optimization is hands down the issue. One of the pains when it comes to responsive instead of separate themes for mobile is the fact that with responsive you are serving desktop content and images using the original source.

true images are not being scaled on mobile is a issue

but i feel Pagespeed resuls, arent consistent either another page which has lot of images but scores 78 on mobile site.
