Paginate question

Hello and thanks for the great plug-in!
Is there a way to shorten pagination to something like this:
Page-1,2,3,4,,next

The issue is that I specification pages on my sight in the thousands and the page gets to be pretty long when your plug-in lists all the page numbers.

The other question is there a way to display only the search function of the file with a sidebar widget or short-code on a page?
