Pagination Issue

    Tested this plugin on a fresh install WP 3.9.2 with default Twenty Fourteen theme.

    Created a category call Testimonials.
    Created a post call Testimonials list under category Testimonials with shortcode [testimonials per_page=”2″] inside this post.

    The issue found… when Permalink Settings is default ie: ?p=123 the pagination work but when use custom structure /%category%/%postname%/ the pagination does not work.

    Also tested [testimonials per_page=”2″] on a single page with custom structure /%category%/%postname%/ and the pagination work.

    Anyone encounter the same issue and can share some solutions?

    Hey inmaginerz,

    Are you implementing any custom pagination or are you just letting the plugin handle it?

    Can you please try creating a page and using that page to run the [testimonials per_page=”2″] shortcode. I don’t expect anything to change, but need to cover all of the bases.

    Hi Luke,

    No extra plugin used or installed… I test it with a fresh WP install and default WP theme to avoid any conflicts.

    Yes the [testimonials per_page=”2″] pagination work on Page format with custom structure /%category%/%postname%/
    … but it does not seem to work when I try it on Post.

    [testimonials per_page=”2″] Post format pagination will work if I use Permalink Settings as default ie: ?p=123

    Basically tested most scenarios and it work except for Post format with custom structure /%category%/%postname%/

    My reason for using Post was to group the list and form under one Category.

    Have milestoned this fix for version 1.6 which will be released shortly. Look out for the update!
