Hi there, is it possible to paginate per table?

For instance, if I have the short codes

    [table id=1 /]
    [table id=2 /]

Instead of the 2 tables appearing on the same page, is there a way to paginate from 1 table to table 2 per page?

Hope you can let me know, thank you.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Using one pagination for two tables is not possible.
You would have to merge the tables, e.g. by exporting table 2 to a CSV file and then importing that, and choosing to append it to table 1.

Wait, or are you looking for some sort of “tabs” solution, which allows you to switch between tables? TablePress doesn’t have a native feature for this, but there are tabs plugin that you could try.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Thanks for your reply.

If I append the tables, could I still add a title for table 2?

We have individual tables per year — table 2018, table 2019, etc if they were appended could they be differentiated with a title?

If not, I think we can go with one large table since there is a search feature.

Thanks again, fantastic plugin to create tables.

    Hi,

thanks for the explanation! In your case, merging those tables into one does not make sense then, as they would no longer be differentiated – except of course if the search function in a large table is enough.

You should however definitely check if you can maybe find a good solution with tabs or collapsable sections or similar, where you can then show one table at a time.

    Regards,
    Tobias
