• This is unfortunate, I would be willing to pay a one time fee but I’m simply not interested in renewing such a simple feature.

You’re plugin is very functional and elegant to look at but theirs other ways to get done what I need my websites to do. I used you’re plugin mostly for it’s professional and impressive design and to that I say well done but I pay subscriptions for far more complicated software essential to my business. If you ever decide to go with a one time fee at a reasonable cost please let me know, I would be happy to purchase a license.

I don’t expect “free” for good products but my personal preference is to not sub for things that aren’t essential to me no matter how good they look. For those of you that don’t mind paying for a sub, PrintFriendly is an easy to use product and I really did enjoy having it.

It was good well it lasted and good luck to you as things are I won’t be using this product any longer. It was very nice though.

ps. I was going to rate two stars because I am pretty bummed out about changing to something else but I’ll throw in a third star just because I really appreciated the plugin design.

@mcriot Simply cancel the subscription after purchase. The service stays active for the time purchased. We’ll make this more clear in case others have this same concern.

Please upgrade and update the review. 🙂

I don’t think you understand, Your Pro Service is monthly and/or yearly according to your website. Subscribing and canceling doesn’t change the fact that it expires and I will need to pay you again and again. This does not interest me unless you are telling me $40 and I have a lifetime Pro license which I don’t think you are? If that was the case you would have changed it on your site.

I really just needed your plugin for one page on one site but because it was well designed I used it on multiple pages. The page I needed it for I simply came up with a new solution now, not as nice to look at but functional. Your plugin simply isn’t worth having to renew every year for me, I would have probably paid for a lifetime option just because of it’s elegant design and PDF feature.

Theirs a reason people use WordPress. It’s Free, no monthly/yearly charge and plenty of free plugins. If I wanted to pay $40/year which I also assume is in USD which is more like $52-55/year in CAD I would simply use a service like SquareSpace which gives you everything built-in at a monthly-cost. A lot of us already pay monthly for our domains/ server hosting/invoicing/marketing the list goes on.

You’re plugin is great and useful and I’ll stand by that. You should consider revising your business model. This is to me a one and done paid plugin at most, perhaps set up a referral program after scraping the subscription model and just get the word out.

ps. my last thoughts for you is be nicer in your replies and interactions with your customers. Reading through reviews, some of your replies are truly cringe worthy. Also, don’t “TELL” people to change their reviews changes will come depending on your interactions with the person. This is friendly criticism, I wish you the best of luck and again if you change your model I may reconsider using your product.
