Bill,

Is it possible to add classes for parent items? If so, how? Seems that the only class that does get added is the “widget_subpages_current_page” class for the page a user is on.

It would be great to be able to style a parent to indicate where they are within the nested li list in relation to the current page.

That’s not currently a feature, but I’ve added it to our issues list so I can add it to the next version of the plugin (hopefully soon): https://github.com/billerickson/BE-Subpages-Widget/issues/3

If anyone needs this here’s how I did it:
ensure jquery is loaded into WP.
```
jQuery(document).ready(function() {
 jQuery("ul ul li.widget_subpages_current_page").parent().prev().addClass("widget_subpages_current_page");
});
```
this will add the class “widget_subpages_current_page” to the preceeding elements parent in the DOM from the child item that is selected. (I think!) A bit of a hack but seems to work 😉

The classes are now filterable, so you should be able to write a function that adds the class with PHP rather than depending upon jQuery.
