I received this message! I am a novice coder and have no clue how to fix this. I have already emailed the website designer, but I have no idea when he will reach me so here is my issue:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home3/gen2014/public_html/wp-content/themes/genesis/functions.php on line 258

    Here is my functions.php

Have you made any changes to that theme’s files? If so can you restore an older version of that functions.php file?

Yes I made a change and I thought I deleted it. I do not have an older version (I knew I should have) before I changed anything. I am not the original web developer, I am just maintaining it. I have already contacted the web developer…

I was hoping there was a way to undo and revert to what it was, but I am completely locked out of my site. I tried to use FTP with Filezilla and no luck 🙁

I was able to temporarily fix it until my web developer can take a look at it.
