• I’m getting this error message “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION” I pasted a plugin code into my theme section. I tried opening in FileZilla but it won’t connect to server. Please help, also I am very very new to this so simple step by step instructions would be great.

If you broke the site by editing PHP via appearance->editor, you need to access the site to fix the file you were editing either via FTP or the file manager app in your hosting control panel.

NEVER edit php files via appearance->editor. (Now you know why.)

How would I get to where I can fix it? Again, I’m new to this..step by step instructions.

Contact your host regarding FTP and/or control panel access. Navigate to the file (wp-content/themes/yourtheme/), download the file you were editing and remove the stuff you added, then upload it.
