    Hello everyone,
    I’m running a Cinema blog.(http://www.cinefame.com)
Yesterday,I changed the website theme to https://ww.wp.xz.cn/themes/justwrite/ , after that I was doing some small editing in the themes like adding Social sites links in editor.
After some more edits, Suddenly my website shows me a error showing ” Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘;’, expecting ‘)’ in /home/u596343301/public_html/wp-content/themes/justwrite/functions.php on line 1194

But Unfortunately I was not able to open my wp – admin panel also.

After reading some great forums in wordpress. So, I log on into ftp and tried to access. But at the same time, FTP also blocked.

Please help me, How to get my website back..?

    Thanks.

  • WordPress cannot block your FTP. You need to speak to your hosts about that.

Once you have FTP access again, try switching to the default theme automatically by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder.

Next time, do not edit the theme itself. First create a child theme for your changes.

    Hi esmi,
As soon I posted a forum here. I got an idea of editing it from online FTP through host provider. So that I edited the website (cinefame.com) Now it is back to normal and its Live…

    I’m Happy.
    Thanks for your Support.
