• I have a problem. I am receiving:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘.’ in /home/susmad2/peterparker510.com/wp-content/themes/MusicMaker/functions/custom-meta-box.php on line 2135

Not able to access it at all. What is the work around to fix it? Log into the webhost via FTP? It is on Dreamhost.

How do i know which line is 2135?

    Thank you much!!!

    Anybody!?!?! Please help!!!

Can you still login to your wp admin?

When did this error occur? What was the last thing you did before noticing the error?

Musicmaker looks like a commercial theme. If you purchased it, that would be the best place to receive support.

Thank you for the response! No, when I login I get the same error…

I recommend logging into your site via FTP. Locate the Musicmaker folder located within wp-content/themes and rename the directory to something else so it gets disabled. This will make WordPress use the default theme instead and you should be able to log in to your site afterwards. Then, contact the developers of the MusicMaker theme and tell them your issue. They’ll be able to fix it and steer you in the right direction.

@jeff, he might get a white screen if he will do that.

Yes. You need to login in your admin to fix the white screen.

@eugenealegiojo, I thought it was a common troubleshooting technique to rename the theme directory giving you trouble to automatically have the default theme activated. It shouldn’t give him a white screen of death if the issue is strictly related to the MusicMaker theme. It should allow him to login to the admin with Twentyfourteen activated.
