Parse error: syntax error – functions.php

    Hi,

    I’ve run into an issue with the theme. To add a favicon I needed to edit the functions.php file. I added the php code for the favicon, uploaded and received error below:

    “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected…”

    I managed to copy the functions.php file thereafter but was unable to re-upload it.

    Your assistance would be appreciated.

    Entire site is down and unable to access wordpress.

    To return to the original, the part that you have changed, FTP access is required. To proceed functions.php content is correct, you will be able to open the dashboard.
