Use FTP to restore the header.php from your last backup or a fresh download of the theme.

Thanks for the quick reply. I’m ignorant to the fact of backingup my blog. How do you do that and if I do to a fresh install of the theme will I lose all of my plugins, media pictures and so forth.

To backup WordPress you would take a copy of the files and the database. There are plugins that can help you do this or you can usually do it manually via your webhosting control panel. To backup the files you can also use an FTP application.

I didn’t suggest you perform a fresh install of your theme – extract the files and replace the munged version of header.php with a fresh copy.

Thanks alot. I really appreciate your help. I just used another theme so I’m good but I’m glad to know how to backup my blog from now on. Thanks again.
