• Hello,

I installed successfully WordPress and tried to login, but received the following error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /htdocs/wordpress/wordpress/wp-content/themes/twentyeleven/inc/theme-options.php on line 408

and I cannot log in. I have never logged in till now.

Should I choose a theme somehow before logging in?
I have no idea how to solve the problem. Please help.

  • Re-upload a fresh, unpacked, copy of the Twenty Eleven folder to wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    Hi,

thanks for the answer. I uploaded exactly the file Twenty Eleven 1.6 from the link, you`ve sent me, but I receive the same error message. I tried with a .zip file and with a folder. I tried also to copy the file in the main directory, because I saw one folder with the name Twenty Eleven. And I also copied it to the theme folder in the main folder.
All this didn`t work and I cannot log in.

    Any ideas?

Delete the theme’s folder in wp-content/themes and then upload a fresh copy.

I had installed the Bulgarian version. I just uninstalled it and installed the last default English version. Everything is perfect!

Unfortunately I couldn`t make it with the Bulgarian version.

    Thanks for your help!
