    Hello, thanks for the plugin!

I’ve attempted the latest update and am now being locked out of admin panel due to a parse error. The website is showing a T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM (double colon) error on line 1128 of the ml-slider.php file.

Do you have any experience with this syntax error?

    Thanks, Dani

  • Hi,

What version of PHP are you using?

    Hi,

I’m on an older version. This could be the issue then. I’ve avoided the update because I’m not too savvy on the bak-end of things.

Yeah I think you’re on a very old version. I’m guessing 5.2. WordPress recommends 7.4 but you could get away with 5.6.

Probably best to just ask your hosting company to update it?

You are probably right there, can’t recall the exact version number but it is older. Definitely will touch base with the hosting company for assistance and see what they can do.

I really appreciate your help @kbat82 and thanks for the quick reply!

Let me know if you have any more issues after updating.
