Please help! I was just making a small edit to the code for the “Theme Functions” in a Pinboard theme, and when I hit save, I got this message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘)’ in /home/content/60/6360360/html/lovinghealthnow/wp-content/themes/pinboard/functions.php on line 53

I can no longer sign in to the back-end of the site or make any edits. Eek! Is everything lost?

    The site is lovinghealthnow.com

So you have entered an extra ‘)’ in line 53 of the pinboard theme that is causing the error. can you paste that line here.

Hi! Thanks for your response! Sadly, I can’t paste the line here because I cannot even login to the WP admin for my site! Is there any other way to login and edit the code if I cannot login through WP?

I’m new to wordpress and shouldn’t have been messing with the code, but I was…

Re-upload a fresh, unpacked, copy of the theme’s folder to wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.
