• Hi All

I apologise in advance, I am self learning on WordPress (infact anything web) and I’ve made a big mistake that I need help with please…

I was in the Edit Themes area pasting code (created by Facebook) to include a “Like This” button into the Header or Home Page of the site. It didn’t look good so I deleted the code that I pasted, however I think I left a ‘<‘ in there – now I get the following error message and I can’t get back into the Edit Theme code area to take the ‘<‘ out:
    Error Msg:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home2/ngomatte/public_html/specialcommune/wordpress/wp-content/themes/hyperion/functions/widget-func.php on line 2

FYI: I’ve inherited the task of fixing the existing unfinished website from someone who has left… so I don’t know which theme they’ve used or where the template came from or whether I’ll loose all my work if I re-download etc. Please give me instructions in laymen terms so I don’t break anything else.

    Website: http://www.specialcommune.org

I hope someone can help me
    Thank you in advance.
    D Beck
