Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_IF

    Hi and thanks for reading

    I am new to WordPress and I got this error today when I tried to login to my website:
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_IF in /srv/disk12/1469436/www/wufanatics.co.nf/wp-config.php on line 89

    I have had a look at line 89 in wp-config.php and it is nothing I have added.

    89 if( !defined(‘ABSPATH’) )

    I would be grateful for any advice as I cannot login to my website at the moment.

    I am able to login again.

    I was trying to get Google to verify my site and added the code in the wrong place. !!

    Learning all the time.
