Parse error when attempting to activate plugin

    When I try to activate the plugin, I get the following:

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /…/wp-content/plugins/gc-social-wall/GCSocialWall.php on line 34

    Looks like the issue was caused by our host running a legacy version of PHP. Once I convinced them to update, the plugin started working.
