Parse Error while installing Theme

    Hey friends,

    I’m running into a hiccup installing the OneEngine theme (https://www.enginethemes.com/themes/oneengine/) to my website. I’m using Readyhosting. I can’t update to WordPress 4.1 because their php version is 4.4.8. Is that the problem?

    I receive this error:
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in\\nawinfs04\home\users\web\b2701\rh.mydomaininfo\wp-content\themes\oneengine\functions.php on line 73

    Line 73 of the functions.php file is: public function he_register_required_plugins() {
