Parse Font Control Array Function

Dear Sunny:
In a previous post, you suggested that I “look at the parse_font_control_array() function on line 536 in file includes/class-egf-register-options.php to see all of the properties and selectors that you can define for each control”.
After an initial review of the function, my question is, how can I define properties and selectors for each control, in a way that withstands future updates to the plugin?
