Loving Formidable so far, but I’m wondering if it’s possible to pass parameters to it from the URL?

We’d like to set up a virtual guestbook for several locations, with a QR code on site that people can scan to add their entry. I could add a drop-down where visitors can select the site they’re at, but it would be even better if that selection could be made depending on the QR code scanned.

Example: Site 1 has a QR code that goes to 4wdabc.ca/formidable.php?site1, and that loads the form with “Site 1” selected. Site 2’s QR code goes to 4wdabc.ca/formidable.php?site2 which loads the form with “Site 2” selected… and so on (yes, I know that’s not the proper format, I’m just slapping it up there to illustrate what I want to do).

Or am I just needing to create separate forms for each?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @4wdabcwebmaster

Thanks for reaching out and for your kind words about Formidable Forms.

Yes, you can definitely pass parameters to the form from the URL – but this functionality is part of the Pro plugin, and is not included in our free plugin.

WordPress forum rules mean that we ar only allowed to discuss/support the free plugin here, so if you would like more details about this, could I ask you please to open a ticket in our helpdesk here? https://formidableforms.com/new-topic/

    Thank you!
    Nathanael.
