    YOASTMASTERS

Thanks for Yoast SEO 7.0.1! I have been using your plugin for almost four years, and I’m pleased to see that it has continually improved: the settings are easier to understand, and the services are better.

I just activated the Readability option and am pleased at its performance — except for one BIG issue: when I click on the eye to highlight sentences with more than twenty words or with a passive voice, the highlights disappear the moment I click the cursor on the text.

That is, when I correct the first problem sentence, the highlighting of the other problem sentences turns off.

I have to scroll back down to the SEO Problems area and click on the eye each time to find the next sentence that needs correcting. So, if I have thirty sentences that need correcting, I have to click the eye thirty times.

Is there a way to make it work so that the sentences remain highlighted until I choose to click on the eye a second time and turn the option off?

    Keep on keepin’ on!

    Hello @nealumphred,

Thanks for suggesting a new feature for our plugin!

We’re actively using the bug tracking on our GitHub repository so your best next step would be to create a new feature request for our developers at https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/new.

You can create a new issue to submit your feature request. You will need an account to create one.

Don’t forget to include the URL to this conversation in your feature request!
