Password change isn't synced

I changed my password in AD several days ago, and I can’t login to WP via the AD integration plugin with the new password, only with the old one. It seems that the AD Integration plugin somehow stored my old password.

1) How can I stop it storing that password? … it’s a bit of a security issue

and

2) How can I get it to authenticate with the new one?
