A recent update caused the Front-end login module password field to not show the input, we’ve noticed this error on both custom skins. The one that works fine is the default styling. Please check this as we use the box skin.

    Hello,

We just reviewed the 3 display options offered with the Front End Login module (“Default”, “Boxed with shadow” and “Modern”), however on our end, all 3 options displayed a the login form with password field containing an input field.

It would be helpful to better understand the issue if you could provide us with some screenshots, however, in order to do so, I would ask that we move this conversation to our internal support system.

Please email us with images showing the issue you are experiencing along with the details of your original message to [email protected]. Thanks!

This problem happens only on mobile. Password field doesn’t work.

    Hello,

We ran a test on our end, however, the Password field can be clicked and is working as expected.

Because this is a public forum and we need to request specific info regarding your site, including images, we should move the conversation to our internal support system.

Can you please email our support team at  [email protected] with the following requested info?

    • The URL of your login page and whether it uses [uo_login_ui], [uo_login], or [uo_login_modal]
    • Any caching/optimization plugin in use and whether the login page is excluded; also whether your host has server‑side caching and if it’s excluded.
    • Whether any separate reCAPTCHA or login/security plugin is active.
    • Whether the problem persists on a clean test page with only [uo_login_ui].
    • Whether you are using a page builder on the login page, if so have you added the login shortcode to a builder module?

Please provide feedback to the above and we will have a look. Thanks!

lalo13 is not the only user to encounter this issue.

I learned of the error when one of our users was unable to manually log in on their iPad. The cursor never appears in the password space. This is the uo_login_ui shortcode. I can duplicate the error in every browser on my own iPad. Just to save others some troubleshooting time: A) server caching on or off, it still happens. B) It doesn’t seem to be dependent on theme (AVADA) or builder (Avada Builder), still happens with 2025 activated. C) I deactivated all the plugins I could and it didn’t fix the issue.

Workaround: One can log in utilizing the iOS password app, even though the password never displays in the field, both fields highlight in yellow with the username showing and the password not, and the login event happens when the submit button is pressed.

I will send an email with further details to the email address listed in one of the replies above.
