After registering, a confirmation email is sent out with a link to login.

when attempting to login, it says “password is incorrect. please try again”

i know the password is correct because i copied it from the registration page and pasted it in. Please help!

Hello @gendive

If you are using any cache plugin, we suggest you exclude all of the UM pages from cache. Please follow this article for help.

Do you have sever side caching by your web hosting or CDN?

Ask your web hosting support and if caching is active ask them to turn off caching for the UM Pages.

I have made a Registration at your site (user ID 41).
First Login after confirming my email address failed
After asking for a link to change the password login worked OK.

You have a conflict somehow at first login.

Did you test with a default theme like “Twenty Twenty-One”?

yes, that’s the same problem we have. the password works only after changing the password. that is not ideal

I haven’t tested it with any other theme. – is that you’re only suggestion? to change the theme?

I’ve seen this same problem several times in the forum and there’s no solution.

does this plugin work?

Yes, changing theme is part of conflict testing.

It’s safe to change theme in WP but your pages will look different.
You will not loose anything when you switch back to your Divi theme.

UM developers test UM with WP Basic themes.

so whats the solution if its the theme thats causing the issue? is there a known conflict with Divi?
