Password not working

    I have uploaded the free version for testing. When I protect a gallery with a password it will generate a 404 after the password is entered on the frontend.

    Hi Arnold
    Thanks for getting back to us.

    1. Could you try to navigate to Settings > Permalinks and just safe the page without changing anything. This should flush the permalinks which can sometimes be enough to get it to work again (it’s unlikely, if the issue is only when a password is set, but you never know…)

    2. If this doesn’t change anything, could you send us a link to a collection where this happens together with your Debug Info (found unter picu > Settings > Debug Info and copy/paste the whole table) by email to [email protected]?

    Thanks for getting in touch via email.

    In our mail-contact we were able to find out that it was another plugin that broke WordPress’s password-functionality, which we use as well. Therefor password-protection didn’t work on our collections, but also not on any other pages/posts.

    I’ll close this issue for now, as this is not something we can fix on our side. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to get back to us.
