Password not working after changing WordPress URL | ww.wp.xz.cn

Hi WP team,
I recently goofed and changed my WordPress Address in the settings. That broke the site.

No problem, I opened up the MySQL database and changed the WordPress Address back.

Now, however, I’m unable to login to the admin area. I don’t get a “wrong password” message, the password just disappears after I hit enter..

Thanks for the response Tara.
Went thru that page, one technique at a time.
What finally worked was adding these lines to functions.php:
```
update_option('siteurl','http://example.com');
update_option('home','http://example.com');
```
For my education, any chance you can speculate on what’s happening?

There is more than one way to change the url. This is one of the ways. You are ok
