Hi i would like to be able to password protect all access to documentation (not on a password for each pages) but having a single password access to all content. I’ve tried several plugins but they do not recognize Wedocs as a post or page. Do you know any way i can manage to do that ?

  • I was able to do this with WP-Client:

    • WeDocs “documentation” page: remove the [wedocs] shortcode
    • WP-Client: add [wedocs] shortcode to the hub page
    • In WeDocs settings, change “Docs Home” to “portal” (which is WP-Client’s start page)

Apologies I was in the middle of testing. Turns out that my docs can still be accessed via direct url without login. I assumed WP-Client’s private post types plugin was working, but it’s not per my latest test. I’ll post an update if I find a solution.

A simple mistake on my part. For each doc post, on the right side there’s a section called “Allowed Customers and Circles”… turn on protection and add your customer/circle there. It will secure the page with WP-Client login.

Downside is that you can’t do this in bulk (one page at a time).

    Best of luck…
