Good morning,

I just wanted to check and make certain that when I password-protect a post in WordPress, that no one will be able to see it without having the password. The reason I ask is because in this other program I was using in place of WordPress until yesterday, I heard that with RSS Feeds you can still view the entry. Hoping you might be able to clear this up for me.

Hi there Maggie….

Your post got me intregued, so i trialed it. If you visit http://www.tomdimmock.co.uk/2006/10/08/hello/ you will notice that it says password protected.

Now your question asked whether the rss feeds show the post, so i trialled this as well. http://www.tomdimmock.co.uk/2006/10/08/hello/feed/ you can see that the post is not displayed.

I may still be wrong, but it worked for me.
