• Hello!!
I am looking for some help, we have a password protected page on our site (www.phillyconcierge.org) and the password field has dissapeared. I tried to fix it myself by entering code, but i think i made it worse.

The page is supposed to read as follows

“This content is password protected. To view it, please enter your password below.”

Underneath, there is a text box for the password. I checked the page and the visibility is set to ‘password proteted’ but i can’t figure out why a place to enter your password is not showing up on the actual page.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,

You can achieve password protect page functionality using WordPress default feature “WordPress password protect page”

When you have completed the editing of the post content then, check visibility section on right side of the page, click the “OK” button. You should now see your post’s new setting, e.g., Visibility: Password Protected. Remember: a setting change does not take effect until you click the “Publish” button (or “Update” if the post is already published.)

Hope it’s working for you if you need to more details on it then please visit below link.

Thank you so much Mithun! I did edit the post visibility to be password protected, the trouble is that the password box does not show up. I’m not sure how to fix this!

Please check your page with the inspact element on the browser. JavaScript error has affected to the password box or might be few CSS. Once, you will resolve it then it’s will work for you.
