• Hi,

I have one page which is protected by password. Only by default WordPress function – I have ticked the option in the options of the page.

Additionaly I have the plugin Wp Edit Password Protected but I have tried it does not cause the issue. It it there even with the plugin deactivated.

I have add a rule to exclude the page from caching in WP Fastest Cache but it does not help. Even if a user enters the password, nothing will happen. The user will not enter the pasword protected page but usually stays on the login page. If the page is refreshed by hitting ctrl+F5, usually the correct page with contect is displayed. But it is very confusing and unintuitive for users. Can you help, please? Thanks.

you do not need to exclude the page because the password protected pages are not cached. They are excluded automatically. are you using a server-side cache system?

    Hi,

yes, I think I am using server-side cache system. At least I hope so. 😀

When I have deactivated WP FC, the issue was gone. When I have activated WP FC, the issue was back again immediately. No other changes have been made. There is a big probability it is related with WP FC, isn’t it?

    Thanks, F.

I do not think so. you should disable the server-side cache system.
