Password protected page does not work

    WordPress 5.7.2, WPS Hide Login 1.8.5.

    I have a password protected page. The password form link points to /wp-login.php.
    Entering the correct password does not work, it says on the password form.

    I saw the recommendation to refresh Permalinks but that did not change anything.

    Do you have any suggestions?
