Password Protected Pages Not Loading

    For the last couple of weeks we’ve been getting clients stating that they cannot log in to password protected pages on our site. Either they get a blank white page after entering the password or they get redirected back to the login page. It does not appear to be every one, personally I have seen it myself after republishing pages it worked. I’ve been able to log in to many of the protected pages without any issues But I’ve tried everything from clearing caches, walking them through clearing their browser caches, and republishing all pages and the issue is persisting with many users.

    Also try:
    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Seventeen.) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
