Password protected visibility redirection issue

I was trying to make a page only visible to users with passwords.

So thought about trying it out for testing and made a simple demo page and set visibility to password protect and then published it.

Now, when I am giving the password, instead of opening the page content it is redirecting to the following /wp-login.php?action=postpass.

I am not using any plugin, it’s just the normal method applied by changing visibility in WordPress post or page. WordPress is also updated to the recent version.

So, please help me find a fix to it.
