• Good morning, for some time now there has been a malfunction that I am unable to resolve regarding the sending of password reset emails.
As you know, the email can be customized, and until recently, anyone who requested a password reset was correctly sent a personalized email with wp user manager.
Now this no longer happens, and the user receives a plain text email without even a link to the password reset form. Checking the wp user manager settings, I noticed that the option to customize the password reset email is blocked (here the screenshot), so you can’t even disable the sending of the customized email, leaving the default WordPress one.
Any ideas on how to solve this problem?
    Thanks in advance.
    Fabio

    Hi @tapirulan,

    Thanks for the details.

If users are now receiving the default WordPress reset email, it usually means WP User Manager is no longer overriding it, or another plugin/theme is interfering.

    Please try the following:

    • Make sure WP User Manager is updated
    • Clear all cache
    • Temporarily disable other plugins that modify emails (SMTP, security, membership, etc.)
    • Test with a default theme

Also, please confirm your WordPress and WP User Manager versions.

That should help us narrow it down quickly.
