  • Hi @aartjetwinkel,

    You don’t have to disable WooCommerce, though this is likely where the conflict is coming from.

    You want to make sure that LifterLMS’s end point for Lost Password and WooCommerce’s end point for Lost Password are not the same.

    If you go into LifterLMS->Settings->Account you will be able to change the Lost Password end point from there. You can also check WooCommerce’s under WooCommerce->Settings->Advanced

    Setting those to different endpoints should solve the issue.

    Let us know if you have further questions!

    Hi Natalie,

    Thanks so much for your response. I changed the WooCommerce Lost Password endpoint. That didn’t change anything so I also tried changing the LifterLMS Lost Password endpoint. That didn’t change anything as well.

    Maybe it’s loading the old ones trough cache? Or wouldn’t that be a problem?

    If this doesn’t work, what would be another solution?

    Thanks for you help.

    @aartjetwinkel

    Try changing the pages so that you don’t have both the student dashboard and my account page on the same page.

    The endpoint / slug is tacked onto the page and just changing that slug actually won’t fix the issue.

    The issue you’re having arises from a conflict of query variables that we use (and WooCommerce use) when both these pages are configured to be the same exact page (NOT ENDPOINT).

    These must both be unique pages and then your issue will go away.

    Hi @thomasplevy That did the trick, thanks so much! I didn’t have a WooCommerce account page set, figured that would conflict with the lifter account page. Turns it out it needs to be set in order to work. Only now is that after as password is reset users get directed to the Woo account page, where their courses aren’t displayed. Do you maybe have any suggestions on that?

    Thanks so much for your help!

    Hi @aartjetwinkel,

    I’m glad you got the redirect issue resolved!

    As for logging in you can use LifterLMS Sign in pages: https://lifterlms.com/docs/how-a-student-can-log-in-and-out/

    Or, if you have a navigation link to the Student Dashboard that would allow students to access the dashboard from anywhere on the site.

    Let us know if you have any further questions!

    Thanks and take care,

    About user questioning @aartjetwinkel.
    I managed to solve the problem but the platform only uses the login system on my woocommerce account
    ignoring.
    when i try to use lifter the password reset error remains even with different “my account” and “home page” pages

    @victordsgnr

    I’m not sure if you’re looking for assistance or letting me know that you’ve solved a similar problem.

    If you need more assistance could you open a new topic and post a copy of your system report with it (read the sticky for details).

    Thanks!
