Password reset not working

Hi,
I have a ww.wp.xz.cn site which I have not updated for a few years and I’m trying to get back into it. However I can’t remember the password. When I attempt the procedure for ‘forgot your password’, I can enter the correct email address but the email reset link never comes through. I have checked Spam, Trash etc.
I tried resetting my account password via my profile in ww.wp.xz.cn forums but it did not work.
When I try and enter my username and password on the /wp-admin site that also does not work. Instead I get an error message saying ‘This page isn’t working, if the problem continues contact the site owner’ (Http error 508).
Does anyone know any other ways to reset the password?
