Password strength / length

    Hi
    I’m trying to “enforce” some password rules on S2Member signup. The default message from s2member-min.js shows a minimum 6 characters but I want to change this to 8 with a number and uppercase letter too.
    I found the line of javascript that deals with it but am concerned this would be overwritten with updates.
    Does anyone have experience of this?
